Compliance Issues

As your department's Research Administrator, you provide the first oversight to make sure a grant proposal is compliant with a wide variety of federal rules related to the use of federal funds for research. First, be assured that you are not alone in this responsibility!

According to the Carnegie Classification, MSU is a "Research University with Very High Research Activity." This means that there is a well-established infrastructure in place to ensure that the research conducted at MSU complies with all federal rules and regulations.
