Promote collaborative research across disciplines, departments, colleges, campuses and communities

Support and facilitate development of large center, program project, multi-campus and multiple team/design projects

Help investigators identify collaborators, potential funding sources, statistical services, mentors, external reviewers, and other supportive services

Guide individual investigators through protocol and application development. Provide resources and assistance with developing a research idea, review and editing, IRB issues, up-to-date information about regulations and requirements, budget development, referrals, and advocacy

Provide outreach, educational, and research development programs for faculty, fellows, post-docs, residents, medical students, Research Administrators, and communities

Facilitate a culture of research through regular communication and development of relationships across departments, units, campuses, and communities

Develop resource tools to support research including central databases, manuals, a research website, communication tools, brochures, boiler plates, etc.

Promote the knowledge and expertise of CHM faculty
