The MSU Graduate School requires all academic units to have a Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) plan that teaches students involved in research projects about the correct approaches to the research process.
The Office of Research at CHM offers assistance to students in conducting research, which includes guidance through registration, credentialing, and regulatory steps prior to research, as well as assistance in finding a research mentor.
The MSU Graduate School and the College of Human Medicine have limited funds available for student research and research-related travel. Click on the links below to see the procedures for requesting these funds.
CHM students in the LCE are eligible to take research electives during their third and fourth years. Please see your community administrator regarding the number of electives you are eligible to take and the length (in weeks) of available electives.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
