Using InfoReady - A Guide

Using InfoReady - A Guide

Using InfoReady - Students and Mentors

InfoReady is an online platform used by the CHM Office of Research to help manage the numerous support resources provided to research mentors and medical students conducting, or looking to conduct, research.

The InfoReady website is the place to go for:

  1. Registration for research matching (for students and mentors; includes registration for EMR-P*)
  2. EMR-P Mentor-Student learning agreements
  3. Travel, research enhancement, or poster funding
  4. Applications for research scholarships
  5. Abstract submission for the CHM Fall Virtual Scholarly Activity Symposium
  6. Communication with the CHM Research Office about research matching, support, funding, etc..

*EMR-P refers to the Early Mentors for Research Program run by the CHM Office of Research. This program matches 1st and 2nd year medical students to research mentors.  Read more about the benefits and requirements of EMR-P here Early Mentors for Research Program.

Here’s how it works…

Access InfoReady at the MSU CHM Student Research InfoReady page or https://chm-studentresearch.infoready4.com/#.

If you are an CHM student or CHM affiliated research mentor:

  1. Create an account in InfoReady using your primary email address.  MSU single sign on is offered.  If you are already registered, you can simply log into InfoReady
  2. The table on the home page lists a variety of forms including research matching registration, research mentor registration, funding requests, and others.
  3. Select the appropriate forms according to your needs and click the link to access the form.
    1. For students looking to register for research matching, click 2025-2026 CHM Medical Student Research Registration.
    2. For mentors looking to register for research mentoring, click MSU CHM Research Mentor Registration to access the mentor registration form.
  4. After submitting a form, you may receive a follow-up notification to submit additional information or documentation through InfoReady.

*Reminder - please register with InfoReady using the email address you check regularly.
